KISKA new lead agency for Carl Zeiss Sports Optics

(27/04/2012, Anif / Salzburg) - As part of a cooperation contract, the design and brand consulting company KISKA has taken over the design of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics products.

After a year of development work, the new sport optics product lines by Carl Zeiss Sports Optics have been presented to the public at the leading European exhibition IWA & Outdoor Classics. On the basis of extensive consumer research, a new qualitative and modern design language was developed for the binoculars. The challenge identified was how to produce a range of binoculars for two very different target groups, bird watchers and hunters, but at the same time keep a consistent and coherent product range to better promote the brand. To make it possible to meet the different requirements we focused the design to protect the precise optics, fine tune how you use the product and then optimize the grip to allow better performance for the different user requirements.

After a year of development work, the new sport optics product line by Zeiss was presented to the public at the leading European exhibition IWA & Outdoor Classics. The product design of the new binoculars and rifle scopes from Zeiss makes clear to the user what the brand stands for: quality and optical performance at the highest level. Richard Smith, managing director of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics: “We came back from IWA with a record number of orders. With KISKA, we have an innovative partner for our high standards. The designers designed technical high-performance products for the future and managed to sharpen our brand through product design sustainably and set it up for the future."

Sharpen the brand

The all-new Zeiss designs are implemented through 2012 in three product lines: CONQUEST HD binocular, VICTORY HT rifle scope and VICTORY HT binocular. Marcus Waldmann, Managing Partner at Kiska: "We managed to make the optical quality of the products also emotionally tangible. By developing a uniform and recognizable visual product language KISKA managed to sharpen the brand Zeiss and communicates the brand values - optical performance, premium quality, innovation - at a glance.”

The birth of the electric concept vehicle RAK

Salzburg, Austria (30/11/2012) – Opel’s RAK e experimental vehicle is an all-new, battery-powered electric vehicle that can travel 100 kilometres (61 miles) for 1 Euro. It’s a third the weight of a conventional small car and can reach 120 km/h (75 mph) in fewer than 13 seconds.

KISKA wins OttoCar Gold Award for new KTM web site

(23.9.2011 – Salzburg) KISKA has been awarded the Gold Award for website design at AutoVision, the International Film and Multimedia Festival of the automobile industry. Now in its tenth year, AutoVision presents awards for cinema and TV commercials, documentaries, product presentations and interactive, multimedia and online productions, all judged by a jury of international experts. The KTM website relaunch was competing against 278 other entries in its category, and the award was made during this year’s International Motor Show in Frankfurt.

(19.07.2011, Salzburg) The pool manufacturer Leidenfrost is treading new paths in product design with the exclusive line "LOFT". With the luxury pools they want to close a market gap. KISKA was responsible for the brand-specific appearance and the product concept.
